By invitation of Steinway and Sons, Robert Palmer’s photo has been placed on the Wall of Fame at the Steinway facility in Hamburg, Germany, which acknowledges the most renowned pianists in the world since 1910.

STATE

Adjudicator for all solo piano competitions in the state of Indiana as well as the finals for the concerto competitions of the ISO, Ft. Wayne Philharmonic, Muncie Symphony Orchestra, and many others.

Student Successes

The high school and university piano students of Distinguished Professor Dr. Robert Palmer have won more than 125 competitions on a state, regional, national, and international level. His high school students have won virtually every competition in the state of Indiana including on several occasions the concerto competitions sponsored by the ISO, the New World Symphony Orchestra, the Ft. Wayne Philharmonic, the Muncie Symphony Orchestra, and the Richmond Symphony Orchestra.

Dr. Palmer’s university students have been prizewinners in competitions from Indiana to Russia including the Taneev International Chamber Music Competition, the Wideman International Piano Concerto Competition, the World Piano Competition, the Beethoven Piano Sonata National Competition, the MTNA and IMTA competitions, the Indianapolis Matinee Musicale Competition, and many others.
